Now we all love war games, we all love the first person shooters, like Medal Of Hounour and Operation Flashpoint, with is aimed at World War 2 and The Cold War.
Where are all the games on vietnam ?
If it is because thousands of people died, why was there a game made on the D-DAY Invasions because alot of people died there.
Well, if i had the money and the opitunity to make a game, it would be a FPS miked with a 3rd person based on the Veitnam war.
You play a young soilder named Steven Justin, and start the game joining boot camp. This is like the training part, where you will learn how to shoot all types of weapons, how to move the camra and how to tackle different obsticles.
As the training progresses you start to do real life combat training missions, when you do this you will learn how to control your squad with is made up of 8 men.
When you have completed basic training. You then do advance training in what you want to be, the options are:
(note. Each solider is issued differnt weapons based on there occupation)
(1) Gunner. He is expert in all different types of weapons, such as M16, M16 with fixed Granade Launcher, Mini Gun and Granades. He can choose one of the above to go into combat with, he can aslo pick up any weapon he finds out on the feild, such as an enemy weapon (AK-47) or a weapon from a dead mate. He has also got two handguns and a Rambo Style Knife. If He Finds a sniper rifle he won't have good acracy like the sniper himself. He is also the fastest in reloding and running and can carry the most equptment.
(2) Sniper. He is trained in all different types of sniper rifles, he carrys one sniper rifle of his choice, a hand gun and granades.
(3) Explosives Expert. He is trained in all explosive weapons such as C4, anti tank weapons, Mines and trip wires. he can also set up booby traps and fences, he can aslo destroy bridges. He is armed with all the nessercerry eqiptment for the mission, he aslo has any weapon he wants for protection, he carrys a a tool with is used for lock picking, and cutting enemy tripwires.
(4) Driver. He is capable of driving any tank, any jeep and any plain, he can aslo set up gun turrents and invade enemy gun turrents. He is also the medic of the group he can fix people's health, He carrys a knife and a primary weapon of choice.
The squad is based upon two of each to a team, each team member will listen to your every command, if you tell them to hold fire, they will. If you tell the driver to run across the mine feild, he will, but if you lose your mens respect you loose your rank, and will have to follow orders from another member of the team (computer AI)
In the advance training, which ever you pick (squad member) you will have all the nessercy training.
Every solider in basic training and Advance training will learn, how to fire the issed M16 rifle, and throw grandes. they will all alos learn how to drive a jeep.
After you finish your training, you will be sent to Veitnam. Which is one massive gameing world set up with villages and enemy bases.
Your base where all the weapons are kept is called camp nightmare, there are 8 other squads with you, with makes 64 men in camp nightmare all with different personallitys.
the 10 squads are
(1) Carnage. These 8 men are all gunners, they are mean and kill anything in there way, The person i charge of Carnage is Animal.
(2) Troides. These 8 men are also gunners, they are the reinforcments for squade carnage, they work together, they are just as bad as one another, there leader is Lighthouse.
(3) The sallys. These guys are your team mates, these are made up of 6 gunners and 2 medics, when you go out to patrol, you go with these. There leader is SGT Utah
(4) Trojan. This is your squad, you are based of two gunners, two drivers, two snipers and two explosives experts. They are lead by you, this is your squad
(5) healers. this squad is a medic squid, you call them in when your squad is losing heavy casultys they are lead by corpral stevens
(6) 908's. These 8 men are reinforcments, all a mixture between gunners and drives, they are radioed in if needed, they come in by helecopter. There leader is Arnie
(7) Galdiators. These guys issue the orders and weapons, they go into battle if need, if you or another squad is being held down, the 908's come in, then these guys, they are all ranks, mixed between SGTS and Corprals.
(8) Limeys. This is the british squad, they are for emidiat invasion, when all the other squads are out on patrool, these guys stay behind and defend the base.
All these squads are in orders. and they will go out in that order, 1 through to 7.
when you are out on a mission, and your men get gunned down and there is two left, you would join another squad, in this case, if you lost two men out on the battle feild, you would get two from the healer squad, but if you loose 6 men, you join the next squad up with would be the sallys.
The game is pointed at reallity, if you loose a man, he is gone forever, and if a man gets shot in the leg, he will fall to the ground in pain, untill a medic helps him, and then, he will have a limp throue the whole game, untill he dies.
because there is no levels on the game, you are giving missions, like, give covering fire for carnage as they take out a village. aslo if you are given an order, you will have to follow it. if you hear a gun shot and screaming, when you are out on patrol, you can either phone for back up or run into battle, you call the shots
if you help a different squad, they like you and respect you, and then you get promoted, but if you throw a grande and kill 4 men, they will either try and kill you, or call you abuse name when you are around the camp.
The good thing about this is that you can go awol in the night, or go on patrol and take a village, the missions you are given varey, you could be given the mission to patrol to the west, throue the vast jungle, looking for enemy camps, you could also be called up, to be in the carnage squad for a day. this game would be so real and so cool.
