Hey, i just wanna ask something from you guys, i know the XBOX is cool because mine is like a child i have even named it, anyway enough about me, i wanna talk about Metal Gear Solid 2 - Sons Of Liberty.
Now stick your hands up if you have played and completed the game.....well, i got it on the day it come out, done it in two days, missed work got fired, and i was really dissapointed with the outcome.
Well, i have been waiting for metal Gear solid 2 since i say the cut scene on the original MGS trining missions. I was really exited when i gave the guy behind the counter my money exchange for the game,BUT (yes there is a but) i thought that Metal Gear Solid wasn't all what it was hyped up to be.
There was major let downs, the first i found was that you only played snake for the first 20 mins, the rest you play that raiydon. i think that was a massive let down, i don't like raiydon AT ALL, he is a woman, we all know that snake kicks butt, and playing raiydon just took the edge off things.
Secondly, we played the first 20 mins to death with snake, and when you play raiydon, the cornal goes throue all the controls again, was there any point ? the controls was the same as snake, it was just a waste of time.
Thirdly, that rose got on my nerves, just popping up when she wanted and talking about pointless things
and last but not least, the story. ok, it was amazing cut scenes, but the fact that the ninga was OLGA and not grey fox, big letdown, and the fact that the whole game was a real life VR mission, i think it spoilt it all, i was really dissapointed with Metal Gear Solid 2, i wanted it to be so good, but it turned out.......well.....crap
I hope that Metal Gear Solid X is microsofts own version or a remake of the first because the first metal gear solid just kicks butt, everything was amazing

firstly i aggrey with what you said about rose but i liked the way you got a diffrent perspective of snake when playing as raiden. and metal gear solid x wont be microsofts own version the yant just make a game hideo kojoma wouldent allow it. knowing the americans they would screw it up. and finaly x-box sucks the controlls the console every thing about it its only redeming feature is.......sorry cant think of one.

its not really "WHAT IT MAKES OUT TO BE" but what you make for it, if you were expecting a good game then you got one, but if you feel for the hype then obviously you will be dissapointed.
i do think it is rather antisocial of you to give away all the plot twists straight away...

Vamp was my favourite bad guy too. ;-) Actually saw a set of collectable MGS2 figures in a shop recently. Was disappointed that Vamp isn't available. :-( Fortune was available, but no other members of Dead Cell.
