I received an email yesterday from Freeola informing me that one of my websites had been removed from the promotional directory:

"Your listing has been removed from our Customer Sites Directory.
We are contacting you with reference to your website, www.'MYSITENAME'.co.uk, which is currently hosted with us.

This is to notify you that your site listing has been removed from our Customer Sites showcase, as your website has been unavailable for more than 5 days. This has been necessary to maintain the quality of our promotion service.

You are welcome to resubmit your site for promotion once you have checked that it is functional and suitable for inclusion in the directory. We apologise for the inconvenience, and continue to wish you every success with your web site.
"

The domain was registered in 2000 - there's actually only a logo displayed.
I'm not worried about being in the directory but it worried me that something had happened to the domain after reading it had been "unavailable for more than 5 days". It all looks fine and nothing strange appears to have happened?!

So either Freeola's checking/reporting system had a hiccup or possibly it's incorrectly worded and it was removed as there's no full website in place?

I thought it was worth a mention in case others are seeing something similar.
Hmmm...

Today I received another email from Freeola - "...as your website has been unavailable for more than 5 days"

This site has been reduced to a single page still showing relevant info and is 'available' ???

@Freeola - you need to change the wording of your emails to stop customers worrying their sites are unavailable!

Hmmm...
