After a few years of waiting the game is out! I have a mixed review of the game but mostly positive. After playing Call Of Duty for a good 10 years now I have seen the highs and the lows of the franchise. Black Ops was becoming a dead end series and something needed sprucing up. Alas Infinite Warfare, the game has the same basic menu as any game before it: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies and Local Play.
To start with I will talk about the campaign. I found the story line to be better than some previous stories. The game play was definitely much more enjoyable with it being interesting and challenging at the same time and of course the graphics are great for this era. I found the voice casting was a nice touch with voices such as Idris Elba's being in the game. For the campaign side I would give a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
Moving on to the multiplayer side I found that the servers are quite glitchy at the minute but they are being fixed fairly quick and being resolved by the developer team. The choices of the games are mostly the same being Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag and Hardpoint. The actual combat its self I believe has become more of a challenge than some of the games before it and I find this great to develop your skill in the game but at the same time maybe less enjoyable to those starting the game for first time in franchise. This gets a 3 out 5 stars at the minute but if glitches are resolved timely easily a 4 out of 5.
Zombies again great graphics and mostly the same gameplay but have some great dlc packs and interesting maps. I especially love the 80s space feel. One boss zombie looks a bit like the aliens from Mars Attacks which I give kudos to. A good 4 out 5 stars.
So overall I would rate the game a 4 out of 5.
