The latest version of Chrome has changed the behavior of the Backspace Key. Since nearly year dot using the Backspace Key has taken you back a page in most browsers.
Lots of people are used to this - I'm one of them.
So I wasn't very impressed where Google have changed this 'back' function to ALT + Left Arrow Key.
Apparently using Backspace has been causing some people problems as they use it by accident while typing in a form and end up losing all their data. Not something that I've every done. But they went ahead and removed that function.
They've been quick to realise they've upset quite a few people and have introduced an extension to re-enable to Backspace key.
It does mean that Google have more 'access' to your web usage but they've probably got that anyway!
