After a Kevin Smith Q&A session with Stryke last night, i found out that Chasing Amy had been released on DVD bus is a HMV exclusive. He told me how there were no extras on the DVD, so I thought it wouldnt be pointless paying extra to get it on DVD. But then when I was in HMV today I saw the DVD and noticed it does actualy have some extras:
- Theatrical trailer
- Introduction from director Kevin Smith
- Colour bars from cast and crew
- Audio commentary
- Deleated scenes
- Outtakes
I brought the DVD but havent watched it yet. I will let you know if the extras are any good after I watch it. I also brought Clerks today so I have that to watch first.

How weird... I had the urge to watch Chasing Amy today as well...
The extras aren't really DVD extras as they were all ported off the laserdisc version. And they're a bit crap apart from the commentary, in which Kevin Smith makes a derisorary comment about DVD's, amusingly.
The only true extra is an intro by Kev, which is interesting because you see just how much he's expanded in size since the laserdisc extras were made. He's now a big roly-poly pudding man.
Who ate all the pies? Kevin "No I couldn't possibly have some more, oh well, you win, go on then" Smith.
