It's competent. Looks nice and works well, makes great use of the environment (includes being able to kick people against spiky walls, kick them off clifftops and dropping huge blocks of stone on top of opponents) but nothing really ground breaking. The exception is the rope bow, great game dynamic in that you can shoot it into overhead beams then use the dangling rope to swing across ravines, but annoying if you miss the rope when jumping to it because you have to start the section again.

If you've played Oblivion you won't really find anything to gasp about, so I'm on the fence on this one. It feels a little too linear for my tastes, and there doesn't appear to be anything in the way of customisation other than learning new set skills as you gain xp.

Probably the worst thing about the demo is that you can just fly through it on Normal difficulty by mashing the right-trigger to slash everything to death with a sword instead of bothering with the nifty other skills you pick up along the way.

I think Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom might be a better option for me.

I played through the PC version when it came out, I think you've summed up the entire game pretty well. Its a run of the mill FPS really with the standard fantasy cast and settings (castle, crypts, caves etc.). The first part of the game was quite good and then they seem to run out of ideas/money. And I seem to recall it dragged on a bit and I ended up being a bit sick of wandering around caves by the end.

I thought there was meant to be a sequel/expansion in the works too, seems not though.
