I've managed to completely take out my hard disk after opening up my computer to put some memory in. Bloke at PC world said it was because I didn't have insulated washers on the screws attaching my motherboard to the case. Suffice to say I didn't let PC world fix my computer.
So, having backed up over 10 gigs of data on to cd's, a nightmarish process, I am now attempting to get the thing up and running again, but bastad windows XP is refusing to install. So I'll probably be gone until my stupid computer decides that it wants to work...
Laptop usage period is now over so adios.
That's why the screws are attached by panels that aren't electrically in contact with what it's holding in. Pah.
Hope you come back soonish anyway.
