I have just signed up for the Freeola "FREE" email account. All well and good but I am unable to complete the configuration because you FORCE one to use your broadband or use your 2 quid a month service to use the service. WHAT is this?

Is this "free" email account an intent to deceive?

Or have I done something wrong in the process?

No offence taken, or even suspected...

You'd still be able to use EmailPro, you can make orders on our site from your current location without any problem as far as I am aware.

Thanks for the mail, obviously I missed something. So HOW do I sign on to your FREE mail?

As stated, "Freeola's Unlimited E-mail is available free of charge to all Freeola Broadband and Dial-Up Internet users, or for just £2 per month with Freeola EmailPro."

In your case, as you do not have Freeola Broadband or Dial-Up, I suspect you will need EmailPro at £2 per month, NOT the free option.

Just to be ENTIRELY clear, Freeola Dial Up is ALSO a service we do not charge for (you are billed at normal data rates by your phone provider), so you could, if you chose to, use our free dial up service with the free email service.

There is no intent to deceive, and in fact on our home page we even specify that we offer "free email hosting for Freeola internet customers", with the option of EmailPro (the £2 per month service you mention).

On our email services page, we also specify as clearly as we are able the feature and access list and details for each mail service, including in the introductory paragraph "Freeola's Unlimited E-mail is available free of charge to all Freeola Broadband and Dial-Up Internet users, or for just £2 per month with Freeola EmailPro."

There are also numerous other mentions of the terms of use around our site, so we're certainly not keeping it secret.

Apologies if you've missed it, we do try to be as clear as we can.
