Heh, back in the day I never let my little bro play on it...

He's got his own PC now though. Plays it nearly as much as me! The guy played a whole season in one day!

First season? god damn...thats going back nearly 10 years if you are talking about championship manager...

On the Current version I played with Man Utd during my first season...finished top of the league. Anything less is a failure really, becasue it is soooo easy with them. But I did go the whole season without losing a premiership game. In-fact I didnt actually lose to an English team that season. Only loss came in the champions league group stage away to PSV. Won all the domestic trophies plus champs league...and guess what? I got the sack at the end of the season for asking for too much money...

That was about 40 seasons ago...Still playing the same saved game. Been a few teams since then. Wigan, Man city and Sheff Wed. Actually, thats not really that many considering how many years it is spread over...

Was in charge of Sheff Wed from about 2003 to 2033. Long time eh? Anyway, won everything with them. Then suddenly my performences begain to decline after 30 years...I Think it was mostly down to me putting too much faith in my youngsters. Not getting the right mix between youth and experience. Basically these yougsters flopped and I fell down the table..eventually getting the sack. Probably done that becasue it was getting too easy. Always good to have a new challenge, and mine was too play my reserve team in the premiership...

Then took over at Man City. They were in the first division. Got them promoted in my first season. Finished in top 10 for a few seasons...then they sack me. I was very consistent during the time i had with them. No real fluctuations in my performance...hell, I even beat Man Utd a few times...But I kept track of Sheff Wed all through this. They were going through a rough patch. New manager had flogged all my youngsters...they were sliding down the table and wernt even in Europe any more...

If by a stroke of luck, the Sheff Wed boss got the sack. I snapped up that job straight away! I was still rated world class so could get a job anywhere. Was glad to see a cool £200M still in the bank from when I had left a few years back. Built the team back up from scratch and won them the premiership and got them back into Europe...Bought back a few of my orginal yougsters as well :)

thats the story up to day...not very detailed...but there are just too many matches that were wicked for me to just pick one out in particular. Although I remember losing 5-4 to France when I was Argentina Manager in the World cup. That was a quality game...

Hehehe, you and me both =D . Thing is, I went halves with my older brother to buy it, and what does he do? never lets me near the damn thing!

...I'm thinking of harrasing him for my £10(he paid 15, so I didnt really go halves), so I can use the money, and he can keep the game which I never use...well, not intentionally anyway.

One more thing, I got it last Friday, and we used a join save. He went Liverpool (grr@him), and I went Arsenal, and I wont the league in my very first season =) Solskjær or ortega, where did you guys come in your first seasons?

I play Lycos sunday League. Undefeated this season in the league!

You have to pay in this game though...But that only works out to about £10 a year to train your players.
