Try a Micro Machines type of gameplay... concentrating on Multiplayer rather than singleplayer... wide range of choices... could work well in a 3D envoron... probably no a full price title though huh?
Did'nt they do a Star Wars droid maker program a year or two back?
Also to be realistic the controls would have to be really lame so that it would be as challenging to manouver your 'robot' as it is for contestants on the programme. This would just get on gamers nerves and the whole game would flop.
It wouldnt work as a game unless it underwent drastic changes and then as I said it wouldnt be RobotWars, which if you are honest about this is just a bit of low budget, trashy entertainment!!
