Now let's move on to Silent Hill. This was more atmospheric and I think it had a very good plot. I also think it was meant to be more disturbing than Resident Evil. It takes survival horror one step further and plays with your mind more. I think the two best parts were when you had to fight Mary, your friend. It digs into your mind. The other best part just sums up Silent Hill - the Hospital which makes you jump, especially when you go in the morgue.
I have discussed both games and they are both brilliant and I find it difficult to choose one over the other. What do you think?

Resident Evil is more all out action/horror, whereas Silent Hill is like a psychological thriller.
It's very much based on evoking emotions, and doesn't necessarily use quite so many blatant fright-tactics.
