I'm having an absolute nightmare configuring all of my IMAP addresses in Outlook for Mac 2016 (Office 365).
I get to a certain number of accounts and then Outlook *completely* freezes. I've created new profiles, but this happens every time.
Two points:
Should I "Use SSL to connect" or not/Override default ports?
Has anyone found this happens to them? If so, have you found a fix? I've tried the terminal 'pref reset' options but that makes no odds.
Thanks.
Neil

Your mix of the latest Apple and Microsoft products often seems to be 'tricky'! ;¬)
I take it you've followed Freeola's Setting Up EmailPro in Mac Mail guide?
Point 1:
As you've had no other replies, I would try both to see how things behave - try the SSL/Port settings in the above link.
Point 2:
I'm not an Apple user - so it's a no from me!
[s]Hmmm...[/s]
I was having so many problems, that I decided to abort using Outlook until they bring out a couple of updates.
I'm currently using Thunderbird. Seems OK to me, although it takes a bit of getting used to with configuration and filtering.

It hung before I got to the end of the list, so it looks like it's not the SSL issue.

I'd forget Apple as well ... but there you go ;¬)
