I've just bought a Gamecube controller and have to say that so far it is deffinitely the best controller out of the PS2, the Xbox's abd GC's, the buttons are alot easier to reach and recognize without having to look at the controller like on the Xbox, and i have used it, but i havnt used the GC's controller on an actual game yet. My first impressions were "F*%*&ng hell its tiny" the dpad is the same size as the one on the gba, and i love the shoulder buttos they go in a whole cm and the extra click is cool, i only have 3 flaws, the position of the z button although i think the R button will be used instead, also the Z button is dodgy, its not like a normal button its like on a hinge or something, because you have to push it down on the right side for it to go fully down and also the c-stick isnt anywhere near as comfy as the other stick but i dont think it will be used as much. But even with these flaws it still beats the other controllers hands down, the second best is the n64 controller which now feels funny ive been holding the GC controller, but the PS2 and the Xbox ones feel funny now as well.
Hopefully, i'll finally get to play a GameCube tommorow, or at least see one in action at Toys R Us! Then I may get to feel the true comfort of the pad.

I have to say i totally agree, the controller is far more ergonomic than either of the other 2 consoles. If it werent for the dodgy hinged Z button i would have said it was perfect.
