As you know ISS games on the N64 don't feature real player names (Konami now do have a FIFApro license, so can use real names though).
The think is, it's blatently obvious who the players are supposed to be. Gagham is Beckham, Acohls is Scholes, and so on.
Except to me they're not.
Gofen, who play's up front for England could well be Michael Owen, that's who the little picture looks like too. But it's not him. No, it's Danny Gofen, a cross between Michael Owen, and Ganny Goffey, the drummer from Supergrass.
And he rules.

was i the only one who didnt realise, at first, that ISS 2 is called - Jikkyou World Soccer 2002? So japanese (no offense!)
I for one shall miss trying to guess which player they mean.

Danny Gofen scored 7 goals in the Euro Cup yesterday in a 10 - 0 win. This was probably in response to me substituting him in our 4-3 win over Russia.
No doubt he also played drums to an audience of 10000 in the evening too, but I didn't see that.
