1. If we except the euro we will not be able to set are own interest rates, therefore they could be higher than they already are.
2. due to our previous far reaching empire we have a lot of over seas investments, which if we joined this euro would be shared between the whole of Europe.
3. We are the richest country in Europe, forth in world, that is why thay want us in so they can share are wealth.
4. Some of the poorer countries in europe have a bad social sercurity system, at present they borrow money to pay of pesions etc. the richer countries money would help this rather than their own people.
5. It would be one step nearer to what the French want, Europe ruled by one person. That would do away with the monarchy, PM and our way of life.
