On Saturday I watched qualifying for 125 and MotoGP from Suzuka. Both were exciting with positions changing practically every minute. I taped them from early morning but they ran late so I missed the 250s.
On Sunday I got up to watch the first relive of MotoGp on Eurosport. The race was grat as it was raining with most riders showing great skill (most of the time!)on tiny tyres in soaking conditions. Valentino Rossi on the new 5-cylinder 4-stroke Honda from the wildcard Akira Ryo on the new 4-stroke Suzuki with Carlos Checa in 3rd on the new 4-stoke Yamaha. An extra element in the MotoGP class is the new rules allowing high tech four stroke 1000cc bikes to run alongside traditional 2 stoke 500cc bikes. The four stokes seem to be faster especially on the straights.
I watched the 250 race next with Japanese wildcards dominating the front of the field.
An hour later I watched the first race Superbike race from Kylami. Troy Bayliss continued to dominate the Championship winning this race and the second race to set the record of consecutive race wins. Britain's Neil Hodgson finished in the top 5 in both races.
Between these races I watched highlights of the British Superbike championships, which is not as good as WSB but is alright.
Finally on Monday I watched the 125 race from Suzuka were Arnaud Vincent one after the 3 previous leaders fell off. The 125 series is the most competitive with riders as young as 15 taking part.
Overall it's hard to pick out the best race but when I close my eyes I see bikes!
