With the split the WWF is starting to take more influences from ECW and WCW.

Only now, months after the WWF vs Alliance are former ECW and WCW wrestlers returning to the WWF. Guys like Raven, Tommy Dreamer and Billy Kidman have been drafted onto Raw and Smackdown bringing with them their own wrestling styles. Since the Alliance thing many ECW/WCW wrestlers were languishing in OVW or HWA despite their obvious talents while many WWF wrestlers who had been ignored during the Alliance were given another chance.

The split has now allowed Hardcore and Cruiserweight Divisions to flourish. The hardcore division has clearly been influenced by the return like Raven and Dreamer who bring their hardcore experience from ECW. The cruiserweight division has gained people like Billy Kidman and Chavo Guerrero Jnr from WCW where cruiserweights played an important.

One of the biggest influences from WCW has been nWo. The WCWs biggest storyline has been used in the WWF, showing how much the WWF must have rated it.

After "defeating" the WCW and ECW Alliance the WWF finally seems to be taking the best parts of both to add to the WWF's own shows.

Do you think this "Seedubyafication" is a good thing or a bad thing?

Can any one remember the good ol' days when there was both nWo and the wolfpack? that was the greatest points in wrestlings history. unfortunately i don't think that since then, wrestling has ever been as good. Ofcourse, the wwf was great when }{}{}{ was the champion and had matches against Cactus Jack in the cell etc. but thers never been any suspence in wrestling since the bout between the nWo and the wolfpack. Have you got any good ideas for wrestling to take? i would be grateful if }{}{}{ was champion again and had another big rival ( im not sure if }{}{}{ is the champ at the moment because i dont watch wrestling much any more). then there would hopefully be some different kinds of matches i.e the scaffold match (its been done in WCW), put two or more wrestlers at the top of a ton of metal and whoever pushes the other off wins (make sure the wrestlers have insurance).

In WCW the nWo was revolutionary at first with the 'outsiders' angle, but towards the end it did get a bit tenuous with the different nWo factions.

In my opinion the nWo has flopped badly, especially with Hogan leaving and Nash getting injured.

The nWo has only been going for about 2 months with got 3 and a half years left if WCW was anything to go by. This might be a bad thing or it could be a good thing.

That question was very DDP-esque. :D

The WWF went main event crazy and the format got tired. Mixing cruiserweights and Hardcore styles with solid main events can only be a good thing.

Can only be a good thing - if managed properly then the amalgamation of the ECW, WCW and WWF style could create the perfect show. Just give the fans want they want and the fans will come flocking back

Saying that, the nWo storyline is flagging a little, especially as Kevin Nash is injured. Methinks we may see another high profile addition to the nWo stable...
