Hi,

I have been using an 8TB WD My Book Live Duo as a NAS on my iMac for some time now.

It has this frequently occurring problem of dropping from my network at will, and therefore not being backed up by Crashplan.

I'm using the latest firmware and on Yosemite 10.10.1, although this happened using Mavericks too.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you find a workaround?

Suggestions for other NAS's would be great.

Thanks.

Neil
