Having just read Aliboy's thread calling for Ghostbusters and A-Team games, I'm inspired to list all those franchises from the world of entertainment that should be put to use in titles of the future.
Airwolf
Knight Rider
Baywatch (with plenty of pre-rendered cut scenes!)
Wu-Tang Clan (i was pleasantly surprised by their PS1 debut!)
Ali G (surely its just a matter of time!)
Akira (amongst other Anime/Manga classics)
The Avengers
The Simpsons (I'm still waiting for a DECENT game based on the world's favourite telly programme)
Transformers
...and any game based on one of the following films would be sheer class!
Scarface (i suppose that's pretty much what GTA3 is!)
Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels
Dogma
Taxi
Ronin
Friday
Casino
Blade Runner
Dumb & Dumber
The Matrix
Blade

Hannibal - The Game (I have a description of this some were else in the 'Game ideas and retro games' forum). That would be such a COOL game!...
They should make a film of Max Payne. That would be the coolest film ever! It would be just like the grandaddy of all films - The Matrix. It would have bullet time and cool guns. Max payne has such a good story line, it would be perfect for a film!
