i've downloaded some programs off the internet but can't open or install them, they are game and bits like that. when i try it comes up with OPEN WITH, every thing i try dosn't work. do i need to get a program or can you tell me were to get it.

If the file type is .zip, you'll need WinZip. If it is a different one, for example, .sc2 is a city file for SimCity 2000, then you'll need to acquire the apropriate program to run it. If it is a standard .exe file, it should just download straight away.

Roll the mouse cursor over the link pointing to the the file you want to download and post here what the status bar says.

If the file you are trying to open is a '.zip' then you will need winzip. You can get it from www.winzip.com, not sure if it's free though...
