Hello, I cannot seem to get the Alt Text to update on my page. I have cleared my cache on the computer and the updated text is correct when I have edited it. Yet it will not refresh on the page either the design page or the web site when viewed in firefox etc. Is this an issue or is it a time thing and will update in time ?

it seems to have a title as well as an alt text, the title is showing as alt text ?

title="Green Pass Driving Lancashire" style="border: 0px none; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; border-width: 0px;">

<img width="205" height="190" alt="Green Pass Driving Lancashire MiDAS and PATS Training Lancashire"

cant post the whole code here as it will not allow so have just put snippets

Cheers John

We've found the problem and are in the process of implementing a fix. Just waiting for some updates to complete, and then we should be putting the fix in place.

Probably not the solution you require, but it works is as follows:

<p style="text-align: center;"><img style="border: 0px none; border-width: 0px;" img src="/safedrivergreenpass.jpg" alt="Green Pass PATS - Passenger Assistant Training" width="205" height="148"></p>

This has the desired effect. If you wish to have a 'title' aswell, change it to read the same as the 'alt'.

But maybe you've tried this!

Thank you, I'll add these details to the enquiry I have already passed to our InstantPro team. Rest assured, they are already investigating the problem!

Thanks for that, I guess what I am saying is that when I add an image in website builder I choose some text for example

website England,
then I change the text for the image to
website Scotland,
when I change it to website Scotland it still says website England as the alt or image text, it does not update the text to the new saved version.

I was wondering why the image editor does not update to the new text ?

I have a title and an alt text that both read different, why does it not update both text alt and title to read correct.

I could do it manually but I think the image editor should do it.

As far as I'm aware, this should update via the editor. I can pass the details on to our InstantPro team and get them to take a look (most likely it's something overlooked during the update!).

Which site in particular would this be on, just so that I can get them to look over your editor directly?

Firefox doesn't recognise 'alt' ... this is an Internet Explorer thing! However a simple solution is to add 'title' to the code aswell. This should be recognised ... for example

alt="NE England" title="NE England">

Add the 'title' attribute to the img tag.
