*Cue the “Through the Keyhole” theme tune*

David--“Hello, good evening and welcome, I’m David Frost and welcome to Through the Keyhole.”
“Today’s show is very special, because we have now run out of famous people’s houses to snoop around, and were left with a load of E-list hangers on, so we have created a digital Lloyd Grossman and let him loose in the world of video games.”
“Lloyd will be showing our celebrity guest panel around a variety of video game characters houses, and they must guess whose house it is.”

David--“So we welcome now our celebrity guest panel.”

David--“First up is a man who’s not been seen on television much recently, so I guess that’s why he’s on this show, the master of camp & innuendo it’s Dale Winton.”

David--“Next up is a man who really needs no introduction, in ‘The A-Team’ he drank milk, beat up hundreds of rednecks, hated flying and owned more gold than Fort Knox, it’s my great pleasure to welcome Mr. T.”

David--“Last but not least is one of the greatest living Englishmen, star of many a James Bond film and the excellent TV series ‘The Persuaders’, owner of the quizzical eyebrow, king of the cravat and safari suit, it’s Roger Moore.”

David--“Without further a do, it’s time to join the virtual AI version of Lloyd Grossman in the first house as we go ‘Through the Keyhole’.....”

Lloyd—“Thank you David.”
“I’m now standing in a magnificent courtyard, in front of me is the huge castle that belongs to our first guest.”
“As I walk around the courtyard you will notice a strange green pipe coming out of the ground, you’d definitely need a good plumber if that got blocked…”
“Also in the courtyard is a strange little cannon, used to fire people up to the roof, and if you look closely, you might be able to see a strange little green dinosaur up there.”
“As I wander up to the door, there is an impressive moat that surrounds the castle, and just under the bridge leading to the door is a large gold coin…”
“Inside the castle has beautiful chequered floor, and walking about the various rooms, you will notice a large painting hangs in each room. Some pictures have bombs, some snowmen and another has a concrete block with a face on it. If you walk closely up to the pictures, they start to shimmer. One picture is huge, and as you see it at the end of the corridor, you walk towards it and you appear to get smaller and the picture gets bigger.”
“Strangely, there are several little people with what appears to be mushrooms on their heads frequenting the castle.”
“Apparently, in the small back garden, there used to be quite a few ghosts.”
“So, lets look at the evidence. The pipe and plumbing connection. The paintings of levels. The small mushroom people. The little green dinosaur on the roof.”
“Who would live in a house like this? David, it’s over to you.”

David—“Thank you very much Lloyd.”
“Now, for our home and studio audience, but not our panel, here’s whose house it is....******** *****.”

Dale—“Oh what a lovely house, I love what they’ve done with the paintings and the garden is magnificent.”

Mr. T—“Shut up fool, you’re even crazier than that sucker Murdock.”

Roger—“Well, the owner must know a good plumber with that pipe being there.”
*Audience claps*

Dale—“Is he or she royalty?”
*Audience claps*
Dale—“A King or Queen?”

David—“No, but you’re getting warmer Dale.” (David notices the mistake he makes on feeding Dale a potential innuendo)

Dale—“Yes, I am hot and sweaty, must be the studio.”

Mr. T—“Is it a princess?”
*Audience claps*
Mr. T—“If she’s a princess then where’s all the gold?”

David—“The gold is collected by her male friend.”

Roger—“The only video game plumber I know of is that Super Mario fellow.”
*Audience claps*
Roger—“Could this gentleman friend who collects gold be Mario?”
*Audience claps*

Dale—“So who were the little mushroom people be I wonder?”

Mr. T—“Haven’t you ever played a Super Mario game fool?”

Dale—“No, I don’t know anything about video games. I’m only doing this show for the money.”

Roger—“Ha, I bet you’ve done worse things for money. What you wouldn’t do for money, hey Dale!”

Mr. T—“I pity the fool who doesn’t know that the Mario games are set in the mushroom kingdom. So the owner of this castle must be Princess Peach.”
*Audience claps*

David—“That’s right, this castle belongs to Princess Peach in ‘Super Mario 64’. Well done to our panel.”
“So now it’s time to join Lloyd again in the second house, as we go ‘Through the Keyhole’....”

Lloyd—“Thank you David.”
“I’m now in a very realistic virtual town in the Japanese countryside.”
“The house is a small but very traditional Japanese house that’s mostly made of wood and is surrounded by beautiful trees.”
“As I enter the house I take my virtual shoes off and notice a pair of white trainers on the floor that have a well worn sole, the owner must do a lot of running about, and a brown leather jacket hanging up. There is a 1986 calendar hanging up on the wall.”
“On exploring the house there are many little cupboards to open and lots of little details.”
“Upon entering the owners bedroom, I notice lots of little plastic toys on display, ranging from other video game characters to cars and forklift trucks.”
“On the chest of draws, there are some keys to a forklift truck, so the owner must either use a forklift in his or her job, or race them, or both.”
“Going back outside, I walk a small way around the house and find a small dojo, where the owner must practice martial arts, and there’s a secret passage hidden in the dojo.”
“So, let’s look at the evidence. The highly detailed game world. The worn out white trainers and brown leather jacket. The 1986 calendar. The collection of small toys. The forklift truck obsession. The dojo.
“Who would live in a house like this? David, it’s over to you.”

David—“Thank you very much Lloyd.”
“Now, for our home and studio audience, but not our panel, here’s whose house it is....*** ******.”

Dale—“The house has a nice rustic charm.”

Mr. T—“1986, those were the days. I was really famous back then. I liked the dojo, the owner must be pretty tough, but not as tough as me.”

Roger—“The highly detailed game world is a big hint. The worn out trainers show that the character does a lot of investigating and exploring? ”
*Audience claps*

Dale—“All those little toys suggests to me that the character is quite young, and that macho leather jacket obviously belongs to young man.”
*Audience claps*

Dale—“I do like the sight of a young man wearing leather.”

Roger—“My dear fellow, you are amazingly camp.”

Mr. T—“And the character drives a forklift truck, I customised many of those when I was in the A-Team. There aren’t too many games characters that drive those.”
“ I pity the fool that doesn’t think that this house belongs to Ryo Hazuki.”

David—“That’s right Mr. T, the house does indeed belong to Ryo Hazuki in ’Shenmue’.
“Well done to our panel for correctly guessing both houses.”
Now we say a fond farewell to our panel, to our studio audience, those watching (reading) at home. From our virtual Lloyd Grossman and me David Frost, goodbye.”

Yes, i was going to have interviews, but Peach is not really an interesting character, and have you played Shenmue? Ryo is the dullest video games character of all time! The interview with him would have been filled with mono-syllabic responses!
