Saw K-Pax last night with the Q&A afterwards with Ian Softely, Mark Kermode & Kevin Spacey.
Excellent movie and the questions were, for the most part, dull pretentious arsecrisps from wannabe directors.
"The theamatic approach of the subtexts of the moral center.." and blah blah blah blah, exactly as you would expect from people with nice little goatees and record bags.
I stuck my hand up towards the end,
"I'd like to ask Mr Spacey a question"
"Sure, sure"
"Who would win in a fight between you and Christopher Walken?"
Silence from the audience and a confused look from Softely.
Spacey laughs for about 30 seconds.
"Well...ah...to be honest...wow, good question...I'd kick his ass, without question. I'm younger and faster than he is. Although if it were a dance-off, he'd win...that guy is a mean hoofer. And he uses weapons a lot. He's a dangerous guy, but I think with surprise on my side I'd take him down...yeah, no contest."
Audience is laughing and Mark Kermode looks confused and scratches his head a lot, "Any more questions?"

i dont mean to be rude but:
a)Spacey didnt get where he was, and to the ability which he holds, by asking stupid questions which he forgets as soon as the show is over. he talks about people such as Kurt Vonnegut as his mentors, i could just imagine them laughing over a who would win jokery.
2)and when people meet someone "famous" why do they always have go on about how they made them laugh for 30 seconds, and memorise every word they said. You lot seem to remember what that "guy from TV" said but not what the guy who served them 'darrn da pub' or whereever you people plike to congest.
Nothing personal (offence!), just an opinion which i thought may be of interest and maybe provoke some debate?

I could just imagine the look on their faces, were the serious question guys not like "OH god! What a lame question!"?

Problem was the questions were all serious ones from other actors etc about "the craft" and "preperation".
My "Who would win" question just had him in stitches.

The closest thing in comparison I can think of is "The Fisher King".
I guess you'd call it "heartwarming" but not in a cheesy way.
If you like The Fisher King/Field of Dreams...those sorts of films that use fantasy to try and say something then yeah,it's worth ordering.
Or if you like Spacey and Bridges.
