the 4th champions league place is still in the balance. Newcastle dropped 2 points today against fulham but are still 1 point ahead of chelsea with a game in hand. Hopefully chelsea can catch them up but newcastle have to be favourites with only 5 games remaining. Both have easy run ins but at least newcastle have a few games in london with tricky charlton and west ham (i think) and we all know how bad newcastle are in london.

come on chelsea.

Ps. carlton cole made his first team debut on saturday after his 37 goals in the youth and reserve teams this season.

Not on todays performance :) Giggs, Solskjaer and Van Man are a different class.

Thats the end of Chelsea's Champions league hopes :)

Got ya back for that Old trafford humiliation as well. And we done it without the services of Beckham, Keane and Veron.

Bring on the Arsenal!

chelsea have been disappointing but this was meant as a year for team builing and has been very successful from that point of veiw. chelsea have a very good keeper now which is something they lacked before really. In my most humble of opinions the best defence in the league (followed closely by leeds). Midfield still isn't fully sorted. that will need improving in the summer if chelsea are to be successful next year. and the best strike force in the league. (hasselbaink, gudjohnsen, forrsell).

sorry to have a go i was just annoyed yesterday. what with newcastle fluking 3 points when they wher 2-0 down an hour in and various other factors. Chelsea where expecting to finish fourth or fifth this season with a cup hopefully. really they should have won the league cup, and have a very good chance of winning the fa cup i'd rate it at about 50/50 with arsenal. rumour has it we are to loan stefan henchoz for the final to play instead of cudicini. (if we get there). sorry to have ago i think the top six will be:

1.arsenal
2.liverpool
3.man utd
4.newcastle (unless they return to there usual london form)
5.chelsea
6.leeds

this is actually how the league stands at the moment. i think arsenal will keep the top spot and i think liver[pool will win most of there games on the run in. Man utd will come third because they won't beat chelsea at the bridge. (probably a draw or home win judging on past form) this will make them come third.

Um......ouch?? That hurts?

But Chelsea HAVEN'T really achieved anything from this season except for the fact they're in the semis - there's still no silverwarre guarrenteed!!

Yes, it's very likely that they will beat Fulham today, but who says they can DEFNINITLEY beat Arsenal - after the other 'likely' result.

So as of now, the side Chelsea, that always claim 'This is the year!!' for honours both at home and away, are currently on course to go away with nothing new or all THAT special!

And no, compared to their ambitions and expectations, the FA Cup isn't all that great to them or their rivals, with only a place in the UEFA Cup also.

Newcastle will probably take 4th place, but Chelsea will be desperate to get it, as they've achieved nothing else from this season - just like every other year!

i think chelsea will be favourites for that one as they are excellent against united especially at home, i reckon it could be 3-3 or something high score draw, screwing both teams up

Chelsea got Man Utd in a week or two. Must win game for both teams really.

Should be a good game. Live on Sky I think. Defeat for United would end any chance of a 4th title in a row, and Chelsea gotta win all thier games to stand any chance of that 4th spot.
