"Halo Announcement !!!"

I read today that a Halo party is being held in San Fransisco for a special announcement about the game. Some might wonder if its to do with the PC version on its way, but apparently this isn't the case.

I think this announcement will be coming within the next week. Could we be heading for online Halo or even.......a sequel ?? Lets hope so. :-)

It should do as Unreal Championship is like Unreal Tournament and Quake 3, a bot game.

Halo should have had some bots in it, would make 2 player team games possible aswell as lots of fun with just 1 person.

Well if you've only got one phone line and your on the net alot, that means they cant recieve calls. My parents moan at me always being on the internet. So hopefully that will make them consider paying the £22.99 a month for ADSL.

I hope Unreal Championship has bots, that's the only problem with Halo multiplayer.

i'm gonna have quite a hard time trying to persuade my parents to get broadband seeing as they don't really use the internet...any help??

Yep, but at least we have everything we need to go online. Also the good news is that our BT exchange is upgrading to ADSL by May, I think our exchange could be ADSL ready now. So hopefully by the summer i'll have ADSL and then will be all set for Xbox online gaming.

I actually am looking forward to online gaming. If we do get a Halo online game with online co-op, deathmatches e.t.c. it would be great. Also Unreal Championship looks brilliant. There should be quite a few games ready for the release of online gaming. With the Voice commander being used aswell then online gaming should be a really experience. Hopefully alot of Xbox owners will have broadband by the time its out, but as BT are upgrading 100 exchanges by May for ADSL, we could see the majority of the UK with broadband by the end of the year.

Yeah. :-) Online play and extra levels sounds excellent. Lets keep our fingers crossed for something along these lines. ;-)

I am sure there working on a online version. I hope that they bring out extra levels which could be put onto teh Official Xbox mag demo disc.

From what I've read, its nothing to do with a port to the PC or other platform. :-)

After getting all excited I'm just waiting to find out that they get everyone there and then say "And the big Halo announcement is........We've sold quite a few copies and people like it !"

Looks like we'll be finding out sometime this week. :-)

except i wouldn't be surprised that it's just about the pc version....surprised microsoft were willing to allow it to be ported over....
