just for a laff I was wondering how cool it would be is you could link your PC to one or two of your consoles. you could make levels and play the games online and do a host of other things that would be good fun.
I just thought that is could be a realy good laff

Personally I will be playing Halo online the day its released on the PC :) Bah to waiting for Microsoft to get their act together.

The only way you can do it is if you are lucky enough to have broadband (like me!), you can link your Xbox to the broadband connection attached to your PC, and once the Xbox online service comes out in September apparently, you can play games like Halo online on your Xbox because the Xbox has got broadband built into it.

Sony will soon be releasing a Linux kit for it's PS2. This will use a standard TCP/IP ethernet adaptor for Broadband modems and network connectivity.

It will be possible to transfer files from one platform to another via this method. The Linux kit will also come with documentation regarding how to program and develop software on the PS2 platform, and will have full Linux functionality.
