I bought a David Bowie compilation, 1969-1974, for £5.99 and it's great.

It does include a cover of the Nirvana song "The Man Who Sold The World", which was nice....

Hey! David Bowie is the man!

He is even more of the man in Labrynth!

"I'm a star man waiting in the sky....." or something like that. :-D

I spotted this album for £4.99 in Tesco's the other day.

That's like 25p per song.

Slayer "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida".

Best cover-version ever.

A 17min song condensed into 3:42.

Mind you, it's not the worst cover I've ever heard, that has to go to the band Stealer's Wheel, who sneakily went back in time after hearing Louise's "Stuck in the Middle With You" to record thier own version.

The original Nirvana version, that Bowie sneakily stole ten years before Niravana had a chance to record it, was much much better. Bowie clearly didn't know the first thing to do with such a good song ;-)
