I'm currently accessing my emails directly rather than using Outlook. I've done this many times in the past, without any problems. Last night however, when I tried to download my emails I received the following message.

An error occurred during a connection to webmail.freeola.com. Peer's Certificate has been revoked. (Error code: sec_error_revoked_certificate)

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.

It's still happening this morning. Can someone help please?

To be honest, we asked the certificate authority to do a reissue and as part of that they send us a verification email, which we have to act on to get a new certificate issued. They shouldn't have revoked the old certificate until the new one had been sent, but they have anyway!

Yeah I noticed Chrome is not complaining yet. The Heartbleed vulnerability is proving to be a little annoying!

We will be doing the same with the SSL certificate that is used on our EmailPro platform as well. I'll put a network status item up about that.

Thanks, that's a relief!! When I checked the network status page last night, there were no problems, but have to confess, I didn't look again this morning.

FYI
sitebuilder.freeola.com has the same issue for InstantPro.

[s]Hmmm...[/s] My Freeola InstantPro Site

EDIT:
Reading Troy Hunt's security blog about Heartbleed it's interesting to see that Chrome doesn't check for revoked certificates when olde IE8 etc. does! Webmail and InstantPro open without any warnings in Chrome...

Please see our network status page. The SSL certificate for this server is currently being replaced due to the recently annouced 'HeartBleed' bug.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
