I like 'good' films. I grew out of the Harry Potter genre type film years ago. I may watch LOTR on Sky, I'm sure I can wait 18 months.

I wouldn't advise seeing any films. You are obviously not a cinema person. I suggest ballet.
It is extremely rare that I will see such over-hyped films at the cinema as usually all my expectations of a 'good' film disappear with down the drain along with the money I wasted on the ticket.
The last such film I went to see was Star Wars - Episode 1, need I say More?
However, on the other hand I have been to several free previews of films, not knowing what too expect but being thoroughly entertained.
For the latter examples are, Bullworth, Copycat and more recently, Ice Age.
