(ive posted this here because the ps1/ps2 has loats of age rated games)
What do you think about them?
Personally i think the're there for a good reason. To stop kids from seeing things some adults think they shouldn't. Usally they are right but sometimes they get it sooo wrong.
Age ratings can be confusing at times on games. You get the ratings that look like the ones you see on your fav video and sometimes they are on the back of boxes, the rectangles with the elspa rating in.
They are easily abused to. I mean if like me your 14, you can eaisly go into a video store and get a (15) like fast and furious without to much bother at all. The internet means even more problems as you cannot see how old someone is. I bet it's difficuilt for online stores like special reserve to enfource age ratings.
Well that's my opinion on the matter what's yours?

Just think about it.. rising unemployment, yet disabled people are being forced into work by a FRENCH company!

Graduates have no chance of work because there's not enough.. what chance an experienced, tried and true person? NONE, because they don't have a degree!

Economy spiralling downwards, yet some of the richest people in the world have homes here!

Environment: OK, there are a lot of people out there hurting because the weather has been bad but what can the Politicians actually DO about that.
Come to that, what Do they do about it.. send Cameron to see the problems!
(See how King Canute got along with it!)

Every piece of land, including the water that flows over it, is owned by somebody!
A lot of this is the Monarchy, the Water Barons, and the Churches.
These are some of the untold wealthiest of institutions in the UK (add in the Gas and Electric companies).

Now look to your own home town, lets break the country into areas.

S.E. England (including London)

S.W. England

Wales

W. Midlands

E. Midlands

N.W. England

North (Central) England

N.E. England

Scotland

and let's not forget N. Ireland and Eire

Online retailers need goods to be paid for by credit or debit card, which with the exception of Solo and Visa Electron, are only held by people who are 18 or over. If these people let their kids get hold of them then its their fault, not the retailers. Same goes for kids managing to get titles they shouldn't from rental places e.t.c. Parents should pay some attention as to what their off spring are up to. If they can't be bothered then fine, but they can't blame the games industry or the retailers - its they who are at fault !

Hey don`t worry about it. They should`ve paid more attention to the fact that your name is in red. Have fun at SR, and feel free to keep posting topics like this one. Its better than a lot of the topics round here, and its nice to see a "newbie" who starts with something sensible rather than a console war.

A good idea, but you should have spent a longer time on it though.
