Hello, I was just wondering if in windows xp if it was possible to stop window group when you have more than one of them open? i.e when you have about 5 internet explorer or a few internet explorer and other programs running.

Right click on the taskbar. A screen should come up with options like "hide taskbar". There should be an option that is called "group similar taskbar buttons" make sure its NOT ticked. This means that if you have more than one window open for the same program e.g. internet explorer, then each window has its own button at the bottom, just like on all the previous versions of windows.
sorry i don't know...but if anyone does i would like to know too...does get quite annoying
