Does a shop have to refund me if I've guffed in the jeans I'm returning?

I'm not actually returning said jeans, but theoretically I might. If I guffed whilst trying them on at home and the assistant smelt it when I went to get the refund, could I argue that it was him, or would the assistant be higher in the 'less-likely-to-trump-in-his-jeans' rankings than me? Just an interesting discussion that arose after buying a pair of jeans today.

I just read the jargon that SR put above the input box for this:

"Remember, this contribution could win you the game or film of your choice."

Not bloody likey! Ha!

My Poem about Guffing:

I title this poem 'Guff, Guff, Guff'

I like to guff,
Guffing is good,
Because I like to guff.

I guff in the morning,
I guff in the night,
Guffing is my favourite thing,
Apart from...

I won't go on, i'm off to guff...

My Mum works in Asda, they have George clothing.

She says : We do not accept trousers that have been guffed in, unless you want to explain your guffing to the manager.

But she is the manager...

Do you mean guff as in crapped in them?

Depends on their customer policy, I suppose.

If it's the "if you are unhappy" pap, then surely, yeah. But if it's the "if you find fault" pap, then perhaps, only if your fart rips a hole straight through the back, and you can keep a straight face when you tell them it just fell apart after one simple squeeze.

Either way, yeah, surely.
