The Xbox has come under scrutiny today as a number of users have been admitted to hospital complaining of severe nausea. It was found they were suffering an advanced stage of radiation poisoning. At first doctors were stumped as to the source of this radiation, but it was today revealed that all the cases were linked in that all sufferers owned one of the new Microsoft consoles.

Microsoft swiftly denied these charges, and in a press conferance Bil Gates said, "This is merely coincidence. Microsoft would never put our loyal customers at risk with such a health hazard. Who would buy Xbox games if everyone who owned one was dead? We want you to go out and spend money... spend... go out... buy microsoft branded products... buy... give us your cash... that's right".

Unfortunately a Microsoft publicity stunt went down all wrong later. At a UK Xbox party, a man covered himself in glowing green paint as per the Xbox logo, and streaked through the party. Many attendants ran screaming, fearing he was an Xbox owner in an advanced stage of radiation poisoning.

Tongue in Cheek publications is able to exclusively reveal leaked information from a former Microsoft employee. A recorded telephone call was made, the former employee saying, "Microsoft plugged the Xbox as the worlds most powerful console, and let the public believe the green glow was just a stylish logo extra, but in fact the green glow is due to the nuclear reactor under the Xboxs casing. This is the only power source that could power the Xbox sufficiently. Some faulty units may be leaking... what? How did you find me?!? No, please, don't! Bi..." at this point the telephone was abruptly cut off. We advise all Xbox owners to dispose of their console safely, and go to the nearest hospital for examination.

The odd thing is that lava lamps work with heat... and heat is bad for consoles...

Oddly enough, there is some reality to that story!

The original Xbox design was the big chrome X. The green eye in the middle was actually a real green lava lamp, that used so much power that, when demonstrating to various magazines, blew all the fuses in the room (or something like that)!

Anyway, the Britney comment isn't totally random, I'm sure she's an alien!

I'm scared!

I think I might be infected!

Been beating my stupid housemate at Dead or Alive 3 too much!

LOL! He's spent the past 2 weeks playing it, learning all the moves so he was good. I come back n beat him 24-5 in the bouts!

But after reading this terrifying news I'm fearing for my life! With a start doing a Mr Burns and walking round forests looking like i'm an alien?
