Microsoft swiftly denied these charges, and in a press conferance Bil Gates said, "This is merely coincidence. Microsoft would never put our loyal customers at risk with such a health hazard. Who would buy Xbox games if everyone who owned one was dead? We want you to go out and spend money... spend... go out... buy microsoft branded products... buy... give us your cash... that's right".
Unfortunately a Microsoft publicity stunt went down all wrong later. At a UK Xbox party, a man covered himself in glowing green paint as per the Xbox logo, and streaked through the party. Many attendants ran screaming, fearing he was an Xbox owner in an advanced stage of radiation poisoning.
Tongue in Cheek publications is able to exclusively reveal leaked information from a former Microsoft employee. A recorded telephone call was made, the former employee saying, "Microsoft plugged the Xbox as the worlds most powerful console, and let the public believe the green glow was just a stylish logo extra, but in fact the green glow is due to the nuclear reactor under the Xboxs casing. This is the only power source that could power the Xbox sufficiently. Some faulty units may be leaking... what? How did you find me?!? No, please, don't! Bi..." at this point the telephone was abruptly cut off. We advise all Xbox owners to dispose of their console safely, and go to the nearest hospital for examination.
