6 choices are:

Ace Combat 4 - Good rumblings but OPS2 gave it 7
Tonty Hawk's - I really should get this, but I'm not a fan
Devil May Cry - Not really my thing. Too short.
Ico - I hear REALLY good rumblings, but again, not really my thing
Pro Evo Soccer - As above
World Rally Championship - Very tempting. I've never owned a rally game, yet I love the sport and this is supposed to be good.

AC4 and WRC are really grabbing me at the mo, and currently WRC is winning, but I'm willing to givew AC4 a chance. What's it like? I don't really know, but I love good all-action flight sims. Also, length is a major factor for me. Is it over-in-a-flash? I need opinions, people!

Like me, I can't stand FF games, sure they look and play great but I find the, boring. Well we are all different aren't we. Good choice Rob, enjoy Greece.

I think he's already claimed, but anyway, some people don't like FF games.

Good luck!

P.S. Why don't you get FFX and wait for it?

Get Pro Evo, Ace combat or Ico. I own the first two and have reviewed them, read my reviews to see what I think if you want. They are both really good. As for Ico it does sound quite good but not really my sort of game, may appeal to you though, not sure.

If I didnt own any of those games I would choose Pro Evolution soccer everytime. Its the only game used by my PS2 these days. It never actually leaves the drive...Well it did for a while when MGS2 came along..but that didnt last long...

Pro Evo is only a game for hardcore footy fans though. If you dont like football you will probably pick this up and think its a pile of crap. You also may find it crap if you havnt played any of the previous versions of the pro evolution series on the PSone. Mainy becasue the game expands on many aspects of gameplay from the last games and you may find it really really hard to get to grips with the controls becasue of this.

Also wouldnt recommend Devil May Cry. I have no reason to hate it as I got it for free from my mate who works in Blockbuster...And I have to say I truly hate this game.

All in all...I have been no help to what-so-ever. Bye.

If you want lastability i'd go for ICO, i've heard it's massive. Ace Combat sounds a bit pap, how can a game with Ace in the title be anything but pap?

Okay so I know nothing about Ace Combat it may be good...
