If there was an omnipotent God, could he create a stone too heavy for him to lift?

Omnipotentency is the ability to do anything.

(PS I do not read the Daily Mail, so don't ask)

He wouldn't have the ability to do anything if he could not make a rock too heavy for him but at the same time if he could, he wouln't have the ability to do anything.

Would God make himself a mate?

If so it would need to be similar to him?

So would another God be created?

What if God was a homosexual?

eh?

:)

Nah, he'd just make a really big one, and then do the "shaking knees trick", and pretend he can't lift it.

So the answer is no. God cannot create something he has no control over.

(Which is obviously why the Earth is infested with morons.)

Better down here than up there, is what he's thinking, probably.

But no, I'm on a friend of a friend relationship with God. I don't really think we all go to heaven when we die... more likely to lull ourselves into a ever lasting dream, or even be reincarnated. I expect all the Christian's will dream about meeting God and then dream of going to heaven or something though.

Sorry, what was the question? :0)

Exactly - I don't read it, I just had the article poked at me. I wouldn't want anyone to think I would stoop so low as to read it :) Torygraph all the way for me! (Oh, and the FTIT twoce monthly).

Insolvable. But if I was God, I'd delegate rock-lifting duties to some YTS schmuck. BTW, I saw the Daily Mail article that you didn't read; why would you make reference to an article you didn't even know about? Now there's a question... I'm sure there's an innocent explanation, no normal person would dream of buying that thing.

P.S. My parents have subscribed to the Daily Mail for over ten years. And I never get tired of laughing at that rag.
