I am trying to create an external link information from another website. I am being told that I have an external button to do this after creating new page but I cannot see the button on the page.

More info would be useful but I'm going to take a guess and assume you are a Freeola InstantPro user?! :¬)

This should work:
Type some text, select it, the 'Links' button will then become available - add the URL(address) of the website you want to link to - including the http://
Post back if I'm guessing wrong, or you are still lost or it worked! :¬)
