Alot of people have already written posts on what makes a good game. Whether it is the graphics, gameplay, characters or plot. Personally i like the good ol' shoot 'em ups with good graphics, excellant graphics and a variety of chracters. As Ali says in the film, " I am the perfect specimen of a man" i would like to add that Timesplitters is "The perfect specimen of a game". Well, Timesplitters is my perfect specimen of agame but what are your specimen of a game? Please post what type of game you prefer i.e shoot 'em ups or RPG's and then what gane fits the catagorie of the perfect specimen.
FPS's are the da best
I like RpG's and FPS's the best, i couldent say that timesplitters is perfect, it is halfed finished, rushed and a step down from goldeneye and perfect dark, but for £20 it's a steal.
I like some RPG's but others i find really boring, i suppose my favourite games have to be strategy games like command and conquer. I like any type of game really as long as it's playable. I mean it's very easy to just sit down and start playing any sort of game i find.
RPGs!
i would have to agree with Juicy Melons Timesplitters is a fine specimen of a game it has everything you need in a game loads to unlock,good gameplay and good graphics for a launch game and with Timesplitters 2 coming out the prospects look good for another great game.
I personally like RPGs better than any other type of game such as the final fantasy series because they are very challenging and enjoyable
