Sunset for me, definitely.

I feel much more comfortable at night. There aren't that many people around, for one thing.

But I've definitely seen a hell of a lot more sunsets than sunrises... so I'm biased in that respect...

So, you?

Both

Watch sun go down, stay up all night outside drinking, then watch it rise :)

Lovely

That's just about a perfect sum of what I was thinking too... stock stops trading, that sort of thing. Stop working, and life begins.

I don't believe I've actually bothered to see the sun rise, well not really taking much noticed, anyways. But, recently I've been taking my dog on long walks, and by the time we get out there, the sun is just going down and it's so peaceful, so relaxing and so beautiful. Just wish I had a digital camera.

Done it. Bloody amazing. Not as good as sunset. Imagine watching a painting change colour as you look at it, and you've got a coral reef at sunset.

Usually, sunset...but I remember going out at about 4am one morning last summer to get some footage for a video we were making in summer school. Initially just trying to get some half light shots, but we had some amazing captures of the sun shining at various positions through the trees, and others being able to pick out rays of light - looked like something edited in to a movie to highlight a spot on the ground. Never seen another morning like it, really annoyed to have all of our work left on the school iMacs too..

Sunset.

It symbolises the end of something (usually the end of the day), while sunrise symbolises the start of something.
