I spent about an hour making this for no reason - so you better damn appreciate it! btw, you can only appreciate it in IE (sorry).

Use the 'browse' button to select a picture and then draw around it and hey presto! You can clear the picture and then print it also!

Enjoy

ps - it may take about 30 seconds to load on a 56k modem.

Cool. That looks like a C=64 screen.

And Monkey_man, it's very impressive for writing it yourself. You are indeed a programmer of swashbuckling proportions.

I used to use ZDNet, but that disappeared recently. I learnt the basic elements of JS by 'reverse engineering' some pages and seeing what made it tick. then I kinda figured out the rest meself. I guess I just got lucky. I did buy a JS book, but it was stupidly complicated.

I hate it when people just copy scripts straight from one page to another without learning how to do them properly.

I lwarnt all mine from the web. All I had was a quick introduction, and after that, I've been reading the source codes of some pages and decoding it myself.

For JavaScript, I read into it in a bit more detail though. That's how I found out about javascripts.com and htmlgoodies.earthweb.com

I wrote it off the top of my head from skillz I have learnt from 3 years of Web Design work. There's only a couple of Javascript techniques on display here, but they're ones that don't get used very often because they vary in different browsers. The bulk of it is a mahoosive table, but that couldn't be helped.

Technically you are right though - I learnt the code from a book (how else would I learn it?) - but it was for something different and it was years ago when I first started. Now I thought I would give it a different use for something that is quite useful.

Well, maybe you did. But where did you learn the code from?

You got that from Javascripts.com, didn't you?!

There's something just like that, but with sounds instead.
