Wow, it's late, it's real late, so why the hell am I up? The problem and the solution lies in the great big black box sitting under my TV downstairs, yes, it has a green blob on aswell. And it is not the first time that my XBox has kept me up until these hours either, Halo has often kept me up until nearly 4AM. But gone 6AM? What the hell was this man playing? Jet Set Radio Future.

Having only played Jet Set Radio the original a couple of times round my mates, I was very sceptical about purchasing JSRF. My god, I'm glad I did. The last time I was kept until these hours was due to work, or drinking. Being similar to Halo with respect to the inability to put the game down for the night, i am not surprised the time is what it is. JSRF is one of those games where you just cannot leave a level uncompleted. And being JSRF, and knowing my luck, the levels I completed tonight had some really well hidden graffiti points.

All this aside, I am very tired. So I thought I would sing myself to sleep with a verse from Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise with the lyric of XBox....Night

As I walk through Halo and the covenant ships,
I take a look to my side and realise I've been hit,
But I've been playin' Nintendo so long that,
It's not a game unless it's under 6's.

But X Box changed my perception of gaming,
Jet Set Radio I've been a taming,
Project Gotham speeding round a corner,
Rallisport challenge enjoying the fauna.

Been spending most my life, living in Nintendo's Paradise.
Been spending most my life, living in Nintendo's Paradise.

Dead or Alive 3 check out the visuals,
Some of those women are highly sexual,
In an animated way - I'm not a wierdo,
If I was i'd be playin Nintendo!

Since I've had my X-Box I've been up till stupid hours of the morning. Since March 14th, 5:30am is pretty much the earliest I've been going to bed most nights. ;-))

At the moment my times being eaten away by Halo and JSRF. DOA3 and PGR also take a good lump out of my time too. ;-))

although the Gamecube is cheap it really has only one game that i would want to buy at launch and that is Super Smash Bros but once the games like Perfect Dark,Mario Sunshine and the Resident Evil Games come out then i would consider buying it but not on release.

Fair point, but another £150 on top of my recent £300 is a bit excessive for me. But for those people out there who are buying a GameCube, good luck to em. It looks like a very neat console. I just hope the XBox shows some good releases to warrant my money. Moreso, that XBox Live will be good, as it is hyped to be, and at a reasonable price.

LOL I love nintendo really, it's just after spending £300 on an XBox, I should really stand by my purchase. Besides, If I got caught on the GameCube bandwagon, I would probably spend even more money which I REALLY can't afford as a student!
