Did the original SilentScope ever go platinum? I was just thinking of buying it today but could only find it non platinum. I'm sure I saw it in a silver box before?
I'll buy this game as soon as Konami release a light sniper gun which was the whole in playing it in the first place.
Without it it just ends up being a sub-standard shooting game which can do no better than the average FPS, which all come with the sniper zoom fuction these days anyway.

I remember when the first silent scope was released and thinking it looked really good for a light gun game, then when the second one came out I watched every magazine under the sun sl*g it off for reasons that I can't remember. So I wonder if the third game will get the same treatment as the others.
But to be honest with you, I havn't seen the sequels in action so they might be crapper than the original. Which I think is still a classy light gun game even today.
