There was a programme called 'The World's Scariest Places' on and one of them was some catacombs that had the bodies of 8000 people all propped up, or put in various positions, in the clothes they died in - it was well grisly. They had different sections for different occupations, age ranges, you name it they had it. Kind of a stark reminder of what the human body is. Most were embalmed, but they were still all skeletor-esque. The worst bit was the 'infant' section. They dressed them up and put them in prams. Not really a scary place, just shocking. 8000 dead people. Christ.
Skeletons arent really freaky, if they had innards and stuff hanging out it would be a little more disturbing.

There's catacombs in Paris - they're less well known than THE Catacombs but I'm gonna check them out in a few weeks.

I think I could handle seeing and being around dead bodies, but not ones that were made out to be making cups of tea and dressed in period costume - for that would freak me royal.
They've obviously never been to Penrhys.
