the n64 had about 10 real shoot em ups with only a few getting past standard quality for example there was only really perfect dark, goldeneye or twine, with possibly operation winback, quake 2 and duke nukem zero hour.
however the gamecube poses to change all this with already two decent looking shoot em ups being realeased a couple of monthes after the gamecubes release.i played 007 agent under fire on the ps2 and i thourght the story line was amazing for a bond game not based on a film and the graphics were wiked.i also enjoyed themissions in the cars. When i noticed that it was to be realeased for gamecube i was really happy. even though E.A made a bit of a bodge job on TWINE i thourght 007 agent underfire would be a must get, that was untill i saw the screen shots for Die hard trilogy! it looks just as amazing and ive read that the plot is going to be really good too!with only limited cash im not sure yet which one i will get!? are then any other hardcore shoot em up fans out there who are getting a gamecube and are pretty sure which one will be the best? please tell me im in a real dilema!

I'm confident that Die Hard will be much better than Agent Under Fire, but that will only be beaten by 'Die Another day'! And 'Phoenix Rising' should also be quite good.

LOL, my PS2 and Arsenal loving friend reckons that Agent Under Fire is much better than Goldeneye!!
Graphically, yes, but we all know that's as far as the argument goes!
He also said that he 'has' played Goldeneye, on a 'Train level' in multiplayer mode! Ok?????
He must mean TWINE or TND!

Die hard will be best I'll put my money on it. But you also forgot Turok Evolution. That looks very good too.
