It's the first time I've seen the Halo 2 trailer and OH MY GOD! If that really is in game graphics, we're in for a real treat. I can't belive how good it looked.
The Xbox Live trailer was quite amusing, although I think I've seen it somewhere before, and the interview with Molyneux was good, although the footage of Fable at the end I've definately already seen.
Still, a good DVD with a number of titles to look forward to.
Thanks again.
Might even influece a few to get one. You can tell people who own PS2 that you think Xbox is better, but they usually won't believe you. At least with the DVD they will see some of the games that I'm gonna be playing.
Make them jelous.
> Everyone who has seen my DVD has ended up really wanting an X-Box. :-)
I lent the DVD to a guy in school today who said he was thinking of getting an xbox. I bet tomorrow he come in saying "OMG Halo 2, I MUST get an xbox!"
Or something similar but more descrete.
Oh and Sav, I think i'll be kicking your butt on Xbox Live (unless we are teamates - unreal championship ect ect)
;-))
Will that be one of us calling on buddies for help like in the football match in the near future ? ;-))
I like the way you get these players come up from all around the world and then the last guy is in the dorm room next door - Sleepy Giant. Dunno why but I can't help laughing everytime when I see that black guy wake up suddenly like he does saying "Wha ? What ! My turn ?" then quickly grabs the controller. ;-))
Everyone who has seen my DVD has ended up really wanting an X-Box. :-)
With the exception of Sega GT, every ad had me drooling over the games they were showing. Excellent stuff. I still watch the DVD at least once a day now. ;-))
I'm really happy with my X-Box. For the first time, rather than just buy consoles for the hell of it, I really want to just concentrate on an excellent set up for one console. :-)
I'd rather spend money on a big widescreen tv and a nice dolby digital 5.1 set up to enhance my X-Box playing than spend the cash on having all 3 consoles. :-)
I dread to think of how much I'll be caining X-Box Live when I get it. ;-))
I can't belive it got to me in a day, cheers Sav!
The DVD is really well put together, if only MS had them free to give away in GAME stores or something, Xbox sales would soar. The who, see more, hear more thing is quite freaky and they should cut and paste it a bit to make an advert out of it to combat tose third place adds.
The XboxLive film had me laughing several times, "master of kung fu? More like kung poo..." and other such cheesy lines were great. Even selecting the sound or hard disk showed great films for Splinter Cell and Brute Force.
Loads of stuff on it, so much I can't really mention it all. I think Gamezfreak still has a few and I sugesst you ask him very nicely for one. You don't need an xbox, just a DVD player to view it.
And the Halo 2 trailer- watched it 3 times in a row. Nuff said.
