I was having a argueement with one of my friends the other day about playing games.

The argueement was about the time spent playing them once you had bought them. My logic when playing a games is to play it for a few hours a so everytime i feel like it (quite regularly if i really wanted the game) so that i made the games last. where as he will buy a game and play it in one go till he has finished it but mostly likely not completely finished it with everything you need to get on it.

Well anyway i thought that the way play them is better as you make the game last and have a social life in the process. Where in his way you would play it and forget about it more than likely.

I would like to hear your views on the subject what do you think and how do you play your games?

I agree as well - what is the point is spending your hard earned wad on a game and then just racing through it and missing out on so much of what is in there.

I too want to spread out a game, not just for longevity but to savour the experience. Prime example - MGS2. I read on hre some people sat down and played it non stop till they completed it. Now I don't mind if its a 70 hour Final Fantasy game or something, but everyone knew it was only going to be 15-20 hours, so why get it over so quickly after you waited so long to buy it?. I took my time, spread the game out over a whole 2 weeks (!) and enjoyed every second of it.

I agree with your view, Anton.

If it's a type of game to be completed like an RPG or an Action/adventure, i will play it constantly until i finish it, but if the game is arcade like, or has no real plot like a sports game i will play it 5-60 mins ago.
