Does it ever say The Comctl32.dll file cannot start. ??

Also did you upgrade internet explorer recently and after you did this the problem started??

You may have to re-instal your operating

Isn't page faults a memory/swap problem? Either you RAM is slightly fubarred (slightly fubarred? I know what makes no sense, shutit), or you don't have enough swap/virtual memory. How much HDD space have you got left? Maybe Windows is allocating too little.

Restart your PC, I usually get annoying errors halfway through anything, they usually shut games down, restart my PC and all is well. Doubt it will work, but it's worth a try, heh.

You are using internet explorer I take it.

Right click on the explorer icon on your desk top and go to properties
click delete temp internet files and clear history

then go into the control pannel on your pc, then to add/remove programs, click internet explorer and then click the option to repair internet explorer.

I think this should help your problem if it is Explorer you are using which causes the error. If not explain more how and when the error happens.

Try entering the error message into the MS knowledgebase (www.microsoft.com/knowledgebase I think), they have exact matches for errors like that. If not, I'm sure Phil or someone can help...
