I bought a Mars bar at lunch today and noticed the wrapper was different - they have changed the font on the front. Why ?

Then I ate it and it's changed, it's more whipped up than it used to be and also I have found out that it's now 5g lighter.

Why are they doing this to us? Does anybody prefer the new style ?

I tried the 'new' mars bar yesterday, Aside from the new design and reduction in weight there was nothing I really thought was new about the bar. It did taste a bit better but I haven't had a mars for ages, so I can't really remember what they taste like in the first place.

My auntie loves mars bars though so I'll ask her what she thinks this week-end.

Iam guessing that that 5g difference saves them a few hundred million quid a year, is there any other reason needed.

I heard pepsi might be doing the same, but they'll be having a twist of lemon in the drink. As for the mars bar, well I've seen the new image but I didn't realise the chaged the whole bar. I'll be getting one later so I'll find out then if the change is for the better.

Sounds gross but will probably be like cream soda I suppose.

Ye heard about this not soo long ago. Sales of the Mars bar have gone down lately and they wanted to change the image of the bar and get rid of the "mars a day helps you work rest and play" (or somthin similar) image.

Basically just wanted to update it to keep up with the times.

Off subject...What does everyone think about Coca-cola bringin out vanilla coke?
