Goatboy is a long standing member of the forums and has posted more sensible topics and replies than most people have had hot dinners. Admittedly he does act slightly superior to lower members but he has a right to, he's a notable for goodness sake. He was elected by the people for being what he is, so why should the people suffer from his ban.
Besides, if the banning criteria was applied properly then half the forumites would be banned. It is nonsensical to make an example of one person without applying it to other offenders, especially as Goaty has worked long and hard for the title and repect he had.
