Nintendo do come up with original exciting ideas. Even though the 64DD Had it's strength's, it just wasn't picked up upon in this side of the world. Because of this, developers were scared to release anything for it, in fear that it wasn't a sound, wise thing to get involved with. And quite rightly so.

And now we have the new SD Digicard. A neat little device the size of an average Playstation Memory Card, which has a Whopping Storage capicity of 64Mb, Wow!
Because of this huge space Nintendo claim it can be used in ways the 64DD could have been, i.e 'Re-Writable games'- when the original game sends a code from the DVD disc to the card 'so you can mess about with it'.
Not only that, it could be used as a little hard-drive, when we visit Internet sites and 'Download' pages or Images to be viewed later.

And what about the games? consider this...You are fiddling about with a 'Special Edition Gamecube Zelda', much like the un-released 64DD Ura-Zelda. In this game you could create your own dungeons, enemies, landscapes or your own little Stalfos ravaged forests, then release your creation on the Net for others to see. Or enter Nintendo's own Competitions for the best designed world etc..
You might even like designing your own Futuristic cars for a Gamecube version of F-Zero, designing your own tracks, editing your own music.
But of course the Playstation 2 with it's Hard-Drive could do all
that I hear you cry! But hears the thing, can you carry a bulky Hard-Drive in your pocket to your mates house? I thought not.
The possibilities it seems with the SD Cards are endless. What other Ideas could be used to utilise the little thing? Any other game Ideas which could be touched upon?
